Cardiac Pacing

Pacing is effective treatment for most toxin-induced bradyarrhythmias and some tachyarrhythmias (polymorphic VT). However direct myocardial depression from many cardiotoxins may mean that pacing may fail to capture the heart or maintain cardiac output.
