Known bleeding disorder
Prolonged baseline coagulation
Severe liver disease
Ingestion of
- salicylates
- anticoagulants
- drugs causing haemorrhagic gastroenteritis (e.g. colchicine)
Snakebite
Thrombocytopenia
Recent intracranial bleeding or head injury
Active or recent GI bleeding
