Odour as a distinguishing feature is a bit overrated but:

• Organophosphates have a distinctive smell sometimes called “garlic odour”
• Lithium has a distinctive odour in urine
• Methyl salicylate smells like a gym
• Alcohol (and isopropyl alcohol) smell like alcohol
